Bio
| Matthew has pursued a variety of subjects photographically over the past 20 plus years. Initially, he was drawn to industrial landscapes and this early exploration led to his professional career in architectural photography. Recently, he has returned to these themes but in more abstracted representation, with a series of architectural form and light studies from Japan. In addition, Matthew had been photographing in Haiti for the past 13 years, travelling there 5 times to try to represent this compelling country and it's people. Matthew graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 1992 with a liberal arts degree and an emphasis on fine art photography. His work has been apart of photography shows in Santa Cruz, San Francisco, and Oakland, California. |
